This past season with riti
The results are in! This year, Otter Creek provided a total of 291 shelter beds, served 582 meals, and offered 1,305 service hours! Thanks to all who served in come capacity. This is a great ministry for the people of Nashville struggling with homelessness!
If you didn't know, on Tuesday nights from November to March, Otter Creek hosts neighbors from around Nashville here in our building. We serve our special guests a hot dinner, provide clothing and other essentials, and offer a warm bed for the night. The next morning, our guests receive breakfast and a packed lunch. This is and will continue to be a great way to serve those in our city struggling with homelessness (especially during the cold winter months).
There are many roles to be filled in this annual undertaking. Preparing and serving food, making beds, doing laundry, driving the van, staying overnight, distributing clothing, being a friend, and much more. Jim & Danna Arnett and Greg & Annie Harvey are the ministry coordinators. Tap them on the shoulder to find out more about how to get involved NEXT SEASON.
